Battle of the Books Team

Have you read any of this year's Rebecca Caudill nominees?  Are you interested in reading a few more? The Battle of the Books team might be the perfect place for you!  Any student interested in joining this team should attend the next meeting on Monday, January 25th from 2:25-3:15 in the LRC. If you can't attend the meeting but are interested in joining the team, please see Ms. Perrin in the LRC

Are you an artist or writer? Do you want to see your work published?

Have you ever wanted to get your writing or artwork published? Now is your chance!! All students are invited to submit their original pieces for publication in Woodland Middle School's literary magazine, Behind the Paws.  

Students can submit the following:  

• Poetry
• Short stories (fiction or non-fiction)
• Short Fan Fiction
• Artwork (drawings or photographs)

All pieces should be original works, which are proofread and edited before submission. Students should email submissions to aperrin@dist50.net. 

Questions should be directed to Ms. Perrin in the LRC.
