Author Visit: Sally Walker

On Monday, December 5th, award-winning author Sally Walker will return to Woodland and visit with 6th-grade students.  Ms. Walker will talk about how she got started writing, the process of writing non-fiction, her experiences as an author and several of her books.  Students are able to purchase copies of her books to be autographed.  Questions or comments about her visit can be directed to Ms. Perrin in the LRC.

How do I access the eBooks from my Chromebook?

Did you know that our school library also has a virtual library? We currently have over 450 eBooks available to all the students at Woodland Middle School!

• The eBooks are free for students to read and available to you from an app already added to your Chromebook.  
• Wherever and whenever your Chromebook is connected to wi-fi, you can read the eBooks.
• Our eBook collection has a wide selection of fiction, non-fiction, and graphic novels. 
• The eBooks are checked out for three weeks (please return early if you are finished) and automatically check back in. 
• If the eBook you want is checked out, you can place a hold on the book.
• Sign into the Go Follett app with your ID # and Chromebook password.

Follow the steps below to locate the Go Follett app on your Chromebook and start reading!
